By-product political learning?

RT @pearswick S.Korean opposition politicians are filibustering in the assembly to try and stop two long-stalled acts. Live here. (23 February 2016)

I didn’t even know the word ‘filibuster’ until yesterday!

In the meantime, the Green Party Korea has made an FOI request to the National Assembly Speaker about the content of legal consultation that he claims to have received before invoking his authority to take the anti-terrorism bill to the floor. According to him, that consultation was instrumental in judging that the country is at an “emergency state” and that the National Intelligence Service must be able to monitor private communications of potential terrorists. Riiiiight.

Dear Saenuri, if this is your way of facilitating by-product political learning of some sort, it’s enough already.
