How you phrase it matters.

20071119_my_mobileVodafone just called me and asked me about how I find my new phone that they’d given me last month for free of charge to reward my *loyalty*. Then they also told me that as a token of gratitude on their part, they would like to offer me an opportunity to extend my current 12-month contract to an 18-month one so that I could enjoy the pleasant experience of staying with them for even longer. Loved their phrasing. 😀

  1. Wonder what would happen if you asked the university to extend the time limit on your thesis so members of your department could enjoy your presence for even longer??
